HotelAdvice is responsible for this large development of two four and five star hotel developments with large convention facilities, exclusive 80 Beach Suites, 200 plus bedroom hotel and 50 plus high end apartments, Jack Nicklaus designed golf course, spa and several restaurants.

Redevelopment of the former Hyatt Regency hotel & resort. 2013 to present.

HotelAdvice already act as Asset Managers of the existing Grand Cayman Beach Suites, Britannia Golf and around 60 acres of prime estate for owners Embassy Investment Ltd. Our team has been involved since 2003 from pre-acquisition of the former Hyatt Regency resort to now. New client instructions were added in 2013 to design and project manage a new hotel development, with the idea to redesign the former hotel more in line with present new “contemporary colonial” developments on Island, to obtain planning permission, and subsequently to lead the construction project.

Scope of works included land rezoning, negotiations with Cayman Island Government, negotiating terms with hotel operators and brands, simultaneously with appointing design consultants, undertake feasibility studies etc. The project has received planning permission, terms of hotel management agreement have been finalised and negotiations with the local government are close to completion.
