HotelAdvice is a fully owned subsidiary of HCA Hospitality Group and was founded by Jan Bertelsen, a hotel veteran with over 25 years’ experience in the hospitality and online travel agency businesses, covering several senior management and director positions from Sales and Operations, latest as Chief Operating Officer for a large privately owned hotel group.
Our team has worked in a number of independently owned hotels, large hotel groups and operating companies and consists of consultants from prominent companies including but not limited to Deloitte, BDO, Hilton and Interval International. Together we offer vital experience, covering hospitality consultants, design architects, financial expertise, internet and social media specialist, sales distribution, analytical skills and sound hotel operational knowledge, which combined will ensure that we offer more than traditional asset management. Besides working closely with owners on feasibility process, our development services provided include everything from advice at master planning stage, to efficiency hotel design recommendations as well as complete Project Management.
Having recently completed both feasibility work, brokering the sale of the property, negotiation of change of use in the Lease, extension of the sublease as well as assisting the design team with advice, we recently completed what is now the Executive 56-bedroom Tower wing extension at the Hilton London Paddington.
